Alice Englert

Alice Allegra Englert (born 15 June 1994) is an Australian actress who is also a director, writer or singer. She is best known for her performances as Rosa in the film Ginger & Rosa (2012) Ginger & Rosa (2012) as well as Lena Duchannes in the film Beautiful Creatures Alice Allegra Englert was born in Sydney in June of 1994. She is being the daughter of New Zealand filmmaker Jane Campion and Australian filmmaker Colin Englert. Edith Campion's mother is her granddaughter, as well as the director of theatre Richard Campion. Her parents were members of the military and she was sent to various places. She explains "I spent half of my life on a plane." There's a lot I admiration in New Zealand, though. That is where the really artistic, fun side of our family grew up." The school she attended was Australia, New Zealand, New York City, Rome, and London, as well as various other locations in England such as The Sibford School, a Quaker school located in Oxfordshire.
